The questions we're asked most often about choosing, installing and running an EV charge point.
How long does an installation take?
Most domestic installations are completed within a few hours on a single visit. Commercial and public installs depend on groundworks and grid capacity, and we confirm a programme with you before starting.
Do I need off-street parking?
For a home charger, yes — the charge point and cable must be on your own property so the cable never crosses a public footpath.
Which chargers do you install?
We're brand independent and install a wide range of units, so we can recommend the charger that suits your vehicle, property and budget rather than pushing one manufacturer.
Is the charger covered by a warranty?
Every charger we supply comes with a 12 month manufacturer warranty as standard, and our installation work is certified and tested.
Will it work with my car?
Yes. Our chargers are compatible with all EV makes and models, either untethered with your own cable or tethered with a Type 2 lead.
Can I charge on a cheap overnight tariff?
All the units we install are smart chargers, so you can schedule charging around off-peak energy tariffs and monitor usage from your phone.
Where do you cover?
We work throughout the North West from our Preston office, and can supply and install nationwide for larger projects.
